The Naxalites wanted to organize a peasant-intensive communist movement in India and Charu Majumdar the first protagonist of such movement dreamt of encircling the cities and towns with armed communist militia from villages. But the feudal structure of Indian economy is a matter of the past, India is now a capitalist country with the capitalists controlling everything. The filmstars, players(cricketers), industrialists, bureaucrats and burgeois politicians are hand in globe in suppressing the mute voices of the suffering mass of the peasants and labourers. Moreover, the Indian people are divided in segments of castes and not only economic classes. Likewise the caste-ist Hindus, the Indian Muslims too are against communism. For what, by whom and for whose interest will the communist revolution should at all be organised? Indian history lacks any instance of revolution. It is difficult to organise them for any grass-root-level revolution against the ruling class controlling the middle class imbued in capitalist culture sponsored by the government, filmstars, cricketrs and the media. Can the Naxalites gain any success against the fourth largest army of the world, a huge organisation of 21 lac soldiers supported by a sophisticated Airforce and Navy??
